Deanna Wright Named Hedrick Medical Center Employee of the Quarter - Second Quarter 2023

CHILLICOTHE, Mo.  — Deanna Wright, a medical assistant at Hedrick Family Care, was honored as the hospital's Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2023. Steve Schieber, CEO, presented the award to Wright at a ceremony held in her honor.

The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees or to comfort or assist patients and their families.

In her nomination form, Wright’s co-workers said, “Deanna is dedicated, hardworking, and an amazing mentor to her co-workers. She is wonderful with patients and does everything possible to comfort them and ensure they receive the care they need. She greets everyone with a smile and is the most compassionate employee I have ever worked with. Deanna is very appreciated by our patients. She goes above and beyond for them by calming their nerves and providing entertainment while they wait to be seen.”

In recognition of the award, Wright received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, the parking space of her choice for three months, her photo posted in the hospital, her name engraved on a plaque displayed in the hospital, and recognition in local media.
