Media Coverage: Saint Luke's nursing school to become part of Rockhurst University

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City and Rockhurst University announced their plan to join forces under a new agreement. 

If approved by the Higher Learning Commission and other regulatory bodies, the Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences will become part of the university.  

"The significant demand for qualified, highly skilled health care professionals is only going to increase in the coming years," said Hubert Benitez, CEO of Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences. "We are confident that once this affiliation is complete, Rockhurst University will be able to support the academic programs Saint Luke's has so carefully built."
