The Wright Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce the continuation of the scholarship program for area residents. Students already enrolled in or admitted to a degree program in a health care field are eligible for the scholarship.

Dr. Mathis is accepting new patients of all ages and has special interests in pediatrics, women’s health, in-office procedures, and sports medicine.

Hamilton has been serving in this role in an interim capacity since August 2023, leading the day-to-day operations of the two North Central Missouri hospitals.

As of January 1, 2024, Wright Memorial Hospital entered into a new contract with the emergency medicine physicians providing care in the hospital’s emergency department.

Samantha has served as the Residential Living Center’s assistant director of nursing since June 2023 and interim nursing director since July.

Anderson County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), a department of Anderson County Hospital, was recently awarded a grant from the MFA Oil Foundation to purchase mobile radio communications equipment.

While the hospital’s EMS volunteers do not provide patient-saving care, their presence helps the paramedics and EMT’s who do.

Dustin Cox suffered a stroke while at work in Trenton, Missouri. It was the fast actions of the staff at Wright Memorial Hospital, however, that kept him stable until he arrived at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City.
