At least 1 cm long liver tissue specimen obtained with an 18 gauge needle at 2-8 C.
Alternate Specimens:
Specimens other than paraffin-embedded should be stored and transported in a metal-free container such as a royal blue top (no additive). Formalin is acceptable, but not preferred.
