Unlike urgent care clinics, Saint Luke's Community Hospitals emergency rooms treat serious conditions. This level of care means that emergency copays and deductibles will apply.

Inpatient Care

Inpatient care is available whether you arrive through the ER, are admitted by a referring physician, or are sent as a hospital-transfer. Saint Luke’s Community Hospitals have the comforts of home with world-class medicine at your bedside.

Outpatient Diagnostic Services

Our dedicated in-house radiology and diagnostic services mean fast turnaround times for test results and diagnoses. These services require an order from your provider. To make an appointment, call 816-502-8500 or schedule directly from a provider's order in your mySaintLuke’s patient portal account. Find the order and then select your preferred Community Hospital location and appointment time.

• Dedicated lab accredited by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
• Imaging services including walk-in X-rays (no appointment needed), ultrasounds, and low-dose CT scans by appointment
• Pharmacy for quick dispensing of medications
• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy services available

Emergency and Inpatient Services 
Each Community Hospital location is a fully licensed, acute care hospital—not an urgent care—so emergency co-pay and emergency deductibles will apply. We also offer financial assistance, charity care, and flexible billing options. 

Outpatient Diagnostic Services 
Emergency copay is not applicable for imaging-only visits. However, outpatient copay, deductible, and co-insurance may apply.
