Education and awareness are important tools in helping women in the fight against heart disease. To help women minimize their risk of heart disease, the Women’s Heart Center offers several assessment packages.

Heart Wellness Package 1: $80

Learn about your personal heart health through a one-hour risk analysis with an experienced cardiac nurse. 

• Fasting blood work, including lipid profile, blood sugar, and thyroid stimulating hormone
• Blood pressure, waist circumference, and body mass index
• Analysis of health history with personalized education

Heart Wellness Package 2: $125

This one-hour, individualized offering, overseen by a cardiac nurse, ensures women know their key numbers and their specific risks for heart disease.

• Fasting blood work, including lipid profile, hemoglobin A1C, thyroid stimulating hormone, C-reactive hormone, and vitamin D level
• Blood pressure, waist circumference, and body mass index
• Analysis of health history with personalized education

A la carte enhancements 

These additional screenings can be added to the Heart Wellness packages above to help you learn even more about your heart's well-being. 

• Body composition analysis: $10    
  Includes personalized basal metabolic rate, recommended daily caloric consumption, lean body mass, and body fat mass. 
• Anemia screening: $30 
  Blood work includes hemoglobin, hematocrit, and ferritin tests. Anemia and iron deficiencies can increase risk for heart conditions. 
• CardioScan: $50 
  Non-invasive computerized tomography scan determines if and to what degree calcified plaque is present in the coronary arteries.
