About Arthur I. McGhie
Dr. McGhie is a native of Scotland graduating from the University of Glasgow Medical School in 1980. After completing his training in internal medicine and cardiology in Scotland, he spent 18 months at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical in Dallas, obtaining additional training in cardiac imaging and performing research. In 1991, he took a faculty position at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston where he was involved in researching, teaching, and clinical practice. In 1998, he joined Cardiovascular Consultants at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
