About Attiq Rehman

Attiq Rehman, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained hepatologist with Saint Luke’s Hospital Abdominal Transplant and Multispecialty Clinic. Dr. Rehman specializes in the management of cirrhosis and its complications, including ascites, hepatic encephalopathy, and hepatorenal syndrome. He has clinical interests in fatty liver disease and novel treatments for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Dr. Rehman also has expertise in managing hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, alcohol-associated liver disease, acute liver failure, liver transplantation, elevated liver enzymes, and liver masses.

Dr. Rehman is passionate about building strong relationships and practices compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. He is dedicated to understanding each patient's unique perspectives to develop a personalized treatment plan, fostering a collaborative, trust based patient-physician relationship.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Rehman enjoys spending quality time with his family.
