About B Todd Moore
B Todd Moore, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained laparoscopic surgeon with Saint Luke's Surgical Specialists. His main focus of interest is in minimally invasive surgery involving: diseases of the colon, small intestine, and stomach; reflux disease (GERD), hiatal hernia repair, spleen, adrenal, gallbladder, hernia, and appendix. Dr. Moore is also involved in the transplant program by performing laparoscopic kidney removal for transplant.
Dr. Moore is a native of Kansas City and has been in practice at Saint Luke's hospital since 2002. He completed his medical doctorate at Northwestern University Medical School and returned home for surgical residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Moore subsequently completed a Fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women's and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been instrumental in the development of laparoscopic surgery at Saint Luke's and created a fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Saint Luke's Hospital in 2008. Dr. Moore has served as Program Director for the UMKC surgical residency program as well as Chairman of the Department Surgery at Saint Luke's Hospital.
