About Barbara Nguyen
Barbara Nguyen, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained general surgeon with Saint Luke's Surgical Specialists. She has specialized training in minimally invasive bariatric and general surgery, including both laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
grew up in Wichita, Kansas, graduated from University of Kansas School of Medicine, and completed her residency with University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, where she is now an assistant professor of surgery.
Dr. Nguyen was fellowship trained at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery, before joining Saint Luke’s Surgical Specialists in 2021. She is board certified with the American Board of Surgery.
