Gerald F. Dugan, MD

Dr. Gerald Dugan has spent his whole career treating patients for their hip and knee pain. Currently, Dr. Dugan operates a non-surgical practice in Lee’s Summit, MO for patients with hip and knee pain, who seek conservative treatment options. Dr. Dugan’s years of experience as a joint replacement surgeon, has made him keenly aware of both surgical and non-surgical treatment options that can be administered for patients who are not yet ready for a total joint replacement. As senior partner at Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists, he has worked hard to build a team of total joint replacement experts, for patients who are ready for surgical options. Dr. Dugan is known for taking the time to listen and understand the unique needs of his patients and then work to formulate a plan of action to assist them.

Dr. Dugan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. After obtaining his medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, he completed residency training in Orthopaedics at the University of Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals.

In his free time, Dr. Dugan enjoys spending time with his growing family as well as being outdoors, hunting and working on his farm. He is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSOA – Missouri State Orthopaedic Association, Missouri State Medical Association and Southern Orthopaedic Association.
