About Kristi Calkins
Kristi Calkins has worked for Saint Luke's Health System since 1998 and has been with Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants since 2001 as a registered nurse then an advanced practice provider.
At Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants, she works closely with the interventional and structural physicians and patients. Procedures including cardiac catheterizations, transcatheter valve replacements (aortic and pulmonary), left atrial appendage closure implants, and Mitraclips. She has given lectures on CAD, PAD, structural heart disease, obesity and venous disease.
Kristi continues to use her talents in the community. She has been a coordinator for blood drives at her church the last four years, she has given talks at her children's school about health and science, and she completed a week long medical missionary trip to El Salvador.
Kristi is a mother of four and enjoys volunteering in her community and church. When not caring for patients, Kristi likes being outdoors, exercising, and attending sporting events.
