About Matthew G. Deedy
Matthew Deedy, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist with Saint Luke’s Cardiovascular Consultants. Dr. Deedy currently serves as Chair of the Cardiovascular Division of Saint Luke's Physician Group and Co-Executive Medical Director for Saint Luke's cardiovascular service line. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. Deedy has clinical interests in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and preventive cardiology. He also has extensive training in non-invasive cardiology with a focus on echocardiography and critical care cardiology.
Dr. Deedy completed his undergraduate education at Yale University, medical education at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and his internal medicine training at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, after which he was on staff for five years.
