About Sarah A. Wakat
Sarah Wakat graduated from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. That same year, she began practicing at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Intermediate Cardiac Care Unit.
In 2020, Sarah earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Kansas, Kansas City, Kansas and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). Sarah joined Saint Luke's Cardiovascular Consultants as an advanced practice provider in 2021.

NP Wakat was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and a better communicator than 65% of MD's or DO's that I've ever had a consultation with. She is one of the best arguments for the use of NPs in practice. Excellent.
