Misty Houghton Named Wright Memorial Hospital Employee of Quarter

TRENTON, Mo. — Misty Houghton, a physical therapy assistant at Wright Memorial Hospital, was honored as the hospital's Employee of the Quarter. Catherine Hamilton, administrator, presented the award to Houghton at a ceremony held in her honor.

The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who provides exemplary service, goes above and beyond to support colleagues, or assists and comforts patients and their families.

In her nomination form, Houghton’s coworkers said, “Misty is compassionate and always listens and supports the patients. She is a great team member and brings joy to the department each day. Misty goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional care to each patient. She motivates her patients while demonstrating the core values in her daily work.”

In recognition of the award, Houghton received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, the parking space of her choice for three months, her photo posted in the hospital, and recognition in employee communications.
