Health News You Can Use: Memory Care at Bishop Spencer Place

Saint Luke’s Bishop Spencer Place is celebrating its 30th anniversary of offering an independent and assisted living retirement community in Kansas City. This month, it will be opening a new Memory Care area for patients with memory disorders like dementia, which affect more than 6 million Americans.

According to the National Health Institute, researchers estimated that 42% of Americans over age 55 will eventually develop dementia.
