Kimber Roberts named Hedrick Medical Center 2024 Employee of the Year

CHILLICOTHE, Mo.—Hedrick Medical Center recently announced the 2024 Employee of the Year. Kimber Roberts, a registered nurse I at Hedrick Medical Center, was presented with the award at a ceremony held in her honor on February 25. Other nominees were 2024 Employee of the Quarter winners Madison Mallory, a registered nurse in the ICU, Trella Hayden, a medical office specialist at Hedrick Family Care, and Gretchen Finch, a registered nurse in nuclear medicine.

In her nomination form, Roberts’ coworkers said, “Kimber has great critical thinking skills and is compassionate in providing the best care for our patients and community. She shows great determination and lends a helping hand to all areas of the department. Kimber is often recognized by patients for being knowledgeable, kind, and having a contagious smile.”

Roberts has worked for Hedrick for four years, and is a member of the Hedrick Medical Center Trauma Team.

In her spare time, Roberts enjoys supporting the Livingston County Steam and Gas Association, and helping manage her church's Operation Christmas Child shoebox program. She plays the piano at her small country church, and is currently planning her wedding.
