Pelvic congestion syndrome is a condition that causes chronic pelvic pain. It's thought to be caused by problems with the veins in the pelvic area. This is the lower part of your belly (abdomen).

Narrowing in the arteries of the legs can cause peripheral artery disease, limiting the blood flow to legs and feet. This restriction in blood flow can cause non-healing sores, pain in the legs while walking, and, in some cases, amputation.

Assessment of blood pressure in the legs is a basic element of vascular testing. This confirms adequate blood pressure to the legs, feet, and toes.

Although the pulmonic valve is the least common valve to need intervention in adults, it is the most common valve to require intervention in adults born with congenital heart disease.
