Courier Tribune: Hospital Honors Fire District for Stroke Patient Care

Saint Luke's Hospital celebrated Holt Community Fire Protection District for helping spot an acute stroke that led first responders to transport a local man to Saint Luke's instead of his hospital of choice due to the specialized stroke treatment we offer. 

“Fire crew members brought him up to St. Luke’s, which is not exactly the closest hospital, but I can say it’s unequivocally the most experienced stroke center team in the region,” said Matt Lammers, Neuroscience Outreach Coordinator for Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute
