FOX4: Saint Luke's doctors use technology that leads to a quicker recovery for stroke victims

Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute is a national leader in stroke reversal. We treat more than 1,100 stroke patients each year from the Kansas City region and well beyond.

Thanks to new technology, only in use since 2013, Dr. Coleman Martin, an Interventional Neurologist at Saint Luke`s Hospital, is able to go into the brain with a stint and retrieve the clot, using a tiny entry point in the leg, and following the artery through the body- to the brain. 

One local patient, Roger, who suffered a stroke wants others to know and remember the signs of a stroke, F.A.S.T.
