FOX4: Saint Luke's providing drive-thru coronavirus testing to first responders

Saint Luke's Health System is working with agencies across the metro to provide drive-thru coronavirus testing for first responders.

FOX4 News talked to Dr. Marc Larsen, Saint Luke’s Incident Command Operations Chief and emergency physician, about how the accessible testing will help reduce further spread of the virus.

"The role that testing plays in this is it tells people without a doubt if you're positive or not, and it allows you to know for sure," Dr. Larsen said. "Right now, just telling somebody to stay home because they have a cough is a lot different than telling someone, 'stay home, you're COVID-19 positive and you have a cough,' -- people take that a lot more seriously."
