Employee Gives Back to Honor Her Care Team
Meghan Geivett has her life invested in Saint Luke’s. Not only does she work for Saint Luke's—she’s a long-time employee working for the quality training team—but she also owes her health to the Saint Luke’s team.
Continuing Excellent Rehabilitation Care
Dale and Peggy Schwader considered themselves fortunate. They were married in 1965, and for decades, took an active part in the Kansas City community. The couple had no serious health problems for most of their lives, and when they did need care, they often turned to Saint Luke’s.
Passing On the Gift of Hearing
In 1971, Denise Kerns was a 21-year-old college senior, about to graduate from Northwest Missouri State with degrees in English and journalism. But then came a devastating revelation: she had cochlear otosclerosis, resulting in severe-to-profound hearing loss.
Giving Back to the Next Generation of Pharmacists
As clinical coordinator of Saint Luke’s pharmacy residency program, Mark Woods, PharmD, has devoted his career to developing the next generation of pharmacists. Over a quarter-century, he has helped build a program that now offers clinical rotations to nearly 150 pharmacy students annually and provides training to several residents.
