Atrial Fibrillation, or a-fib, is the most common type of heart arrhythmia and underdiagnosed and undertreated. According to the American Heart Association, a-fib affects between 2.7 and 6.1 million Americans, often leading to heart-related complications as well as increasing the risk for stroke five times. 

On this week's segment, we're talking with Dr. Sanjaya Gupta, cardiologist at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute, about why it's important to promptly address a-fib and lay out some of the latest advancements in treatment.
