Hedrick Family Care to offer Weekend Clinic

Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe is pleased to announce that beginning Sept. 12, Hedrick Family Care will offer a new Weekend Clinic. 

“There is a great need in the community for non-emergent care on the weekends,” said Jenny Moss, practice manager at Hedrick Family Care. “We came to the conclusion that residents should not have to leave Chillicothe to receive care on the weekends, and it made a lot of sense for Hedrick to be the ones to offer that care.”

The Weekend Clinic will be located in the Hedrick Medical Plaza, which is adjoined to Hedrick Medical Center. It will be staffed by employees and nurses from Hedrick Family Care.

The clinic will be open Saturdays, 8 a.m. – noon, and Sundays, 1 – 5 p.m. Conditions to be treated include cold and flu symptoms, sinus conditions, sprains, minor burns and cuts, skin rashes and irritations, and other minor conditions. Emergent conditions will still need to be treated in the Emergency Department.
