KCTV: Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center holds 2nd Annual "Rock It!" Event
Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center is hosting our 2nd annual event, “Rock It!” this Saturday, November 3rd from 9-noon at Union Station.
This is a fun, free event to build stronger families and is kids of all ages. It will have fun hands-on activities for all ages, toddlers to teens, and will also feature great strategies for parents. There will be games and activities, along with the resources for families focusing on a variety of topics including nutrition, health and wellness, body awareness, bullying, suicide prevention, literacy, home safety, etc.
Sesame Street characters Elmo and Rosita will be there along with their friend Nina from Sesame Street, putting on stage shows. Families even have an opportunity for their kiddos to get their picture taken with a special Sesame Street guest. In addition, local native Michael Steven, star of YouTube’s incredibly popular VSauce will be putting on stage shows and interacting with kids. This should be a really wonderful and entertaining event for Kansas City families.
Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center has been helping the families in our community and surrounding areas overcome difficult times and traumatic events for over 120 years, and is proud to partner with Sesame Street in Communities to help build stronger families right here in KC.
Thank you to our presenting sponsors Honeywell and Sesame Street in Communities.
Extra thanks to our community sponsors HuschBlackwell, Heartland CocaCola, and Lockton for helping us ROCK IT!
