KMBC: New app gains ground with cardiologists

The new AliveCor smartphone app is gaining ground with cardiologists like our own Tracy Stevens, M.D., medical director of the Saint Luke’s Muriel I. Kauffman Women’s Heart Center, who praised it for its potentially life-saving heart health features.

KMBC talked with Dr. Stevens to discuss how patients can use the tool for diagnosing irregular heart activity as it’s happening.
