KSHB: 'It's a Miracle': Columbia Man Becomes Saint Luke's 1,000th Heart Transplant Recipient

A Columbia, Missouri, man counts himself lucky a near miracle has given him the chance for a longer life.

Jon Harding, 53, was the 1,000th heart transplant recipient at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute.

KSHB talked to Dr. Brett Sperry, a cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure and transplantation at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, about Jon's transplant and the prestigious milestone.
