Linda Dunkin named Wright Memorial Hospital’s Employee of the Quarter
TRENTON, Mo. — Linda Dunkin, an environmental services housekeeping associate at Wright Memorial Hospital, was honored as the hospital's Employee of the Quarter for second quarter 2014. Gary Jordan, CEO, presented the award to Dunkin on July 1, at a ceremony held in her honor.
The Employee of the Quarter Award honors an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees or to comfort or assist patients and their families.
In her nomination form, Dunkin's co-workers said, “She is a wonderful team player, always willing to help out with things… assisting in any way that she can. She always looks beyond her regular duties and really focuses on the details. Customer focus is a priority for her. She always greets each patient prior to starting her duties in the rooms and talks with each patient while completing her tasks. Patients appreciate her and look forward to seeing her the next day. She has mentored many new employees throughout her employment and they appreciate her patience and kindness. She has been an employee of this facility for 20 years and she deserves a pat on the back for her years of service and a continued job well done.”
In recognition of the award, Dunkin received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, her name posted on the Employee of the Quarter wall plaque, and various other awards and prizes.
