Saint Luke’s South Hospital Announces Opening of Saint Luke’s Pain Management Center
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Saint Luke’s South Hospital is expanding state-of-the-art pain management care available to Johnson County through its new Saint Luke’s Pain Management Center in Overland Park.
“Our new Pain Management Center embodies Saint Luke’s mission to provide exceptional care to patients close to home,” said Bobby Olm-Shipman, Saint Luke’s South and East Region CEO. “We look forward to helping even more patients suffering from chronic or acute pain to improve their quality of life.”
Saint Luke’s Pain Management Center, located at 7651 W 159th Street, Overland Park, Kan., is set to open March 1, 2022. Patients will have access to a wide range of leading-edge therapies and procedures, including nerve and spinal cord stimulation, radio frequency ablation, and facet joint injections.
About 20% of adults in the U.S. suffer from chronic pain, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The specialists at Saint Luke’s Pain Management Center will focus on creating individualized treatment plans, decreasing patients’ pain and increasing their mobility, as well as reducing or eliminating dependency on pain medication.
