Trella Hayden named Hedrick Medical Center Employee of Quarter - Second Quarter 2024

CHILLICOTHE, Mo.  — Trella Hayden, a medical office specialist at Hedrick Medical Center, was honored as the hospital's Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2024. Catherine Hamilton, administrator, presented the award to Hayden at a ceremony held in her honor.

The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees or to comfort or assist patients and their families.

In her nomination form, Hayden’s coworkers said, “Trella is always willing to go above and beyond to help patients with their questions, including seeking additional support when needed. She is always willing to help her coworkers with tasks while always having a smile on her face. She is open to learning new roles to help support her coworkers when they need an extra hand. Trella is a great team player and offers to cover shifts outside of her normal scheduled hours.”

In recognition of the award, Hayden received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, the parking space of her choice for three months, her photo posted in the hospital, her name engraved on a plaque displayed in the hospital, and recognition in local media.
