Saint Luke's GI Specialists opens clinic at Wright Memorial Hospital
(TRENTON, Mo.) Patients in need of consultation with a GI specialist may now do so closer to home in Grundy County, as Saint Luke’s GI Specialists has opened a new clinic on the campus of Wright Memorial Hospital.
Saint Luke’s GI Clinic offers diagnosis and treatment of general GI disorders, both simple and complex, including: acid reflux, peptic ulcers, gallstones and pancreatitis, lactose intolerance, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease/ulcerative colitis), Barrett’s esophagus, hepatitis and liver failure, celiac disease and constipation. The clinic also offers colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures.

Recently named one of America’s Top Doctors in Gastroenterology, Dr. Jonnalagadda is Director of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Therapeutic Endoscopy, and Professor of Medicine at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. His special interests include advanced endoscopic procedures, biliary and pancreatic diseases, esophageal, colonic, gastric and small bowel malignant and premalignant diseases.
Dr. Clarkston is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and Program Director of the Gastroenterology Training Program at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City. He has special interests in swallowing disorders, colorectal cancer prevention and inflammatory bowel diseases.
Dr. Chhabra is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine with special interests in inflammatory bowel diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, and liver disease, including Fatty Liver Diseases, and small bowel diseases.
