Saint Luke's Convenient Care Clinic to open in Mission at Martway and Lamar inside Hy-Vee grocery store

Mission residents soon will have a convenient new option for treatment when they are feeling under the weather and don’t have access to a primary care physician.

Saint Luke’s Health System will open a Saint Luke’s Convenient Care clinic inside the Mission Hy-Vee store located at 6655 Martway St. in Mission, Kansas, by summer 2016. The clinic at Martway and Lamar is one of 12 Saint Luke’s Convenient Care clinics planned for the Kansas City area.

Saint Luke’s Convenient Care clinic at Martway and Lamar in Mission will be staffed by advanced nurse practitioners and offer treatment immediately and with no appointment for conditions like sore throats, sinus infections, colds and flu, minor cuts and sprains, as well as vaccinations and boosters. The clinic will accept most insurance, including some area HMOs. A complete list of accepted insurance will be available at each clinic. The clinic also will offer new patients access for referrals to primary care and specialist physicians throughout Saint Luke’s Health System.

Saint Luke’s Convenient Care clinics located in Hy-Vee grocery stores will be open extended hours on weekdays and weekends, and offer the benefit of patient connectivity through electronic medical records with physicians and specialists throughout Saint Luke’s Health System.
