Saint Luke's Health System named among Health Care's Most Wired Hospitals for 2017

Saint Luke’s is committed to adopting technology to foster patient engagement and to offer greater access to health care. Because of this dedication to integrating technology, the American Hospital Association’s Health Forum has named Saint Luke’s Health System as a Most Wired Hospital for 2017.

According to the AHA survey, Most Wired Hospitals are use telehealth to fill gaps in care, provide services 24/7, and expand patient access to medical specialists. In addition, the Most Wired are incorporating predictive modeling to eliminate preventable problems, utilizing population health management tools, and partnering with other providers to share critical information and ensure patients receive the right care.

Saint Luke’s was recognized as a Most Wired hospital for consistently adopting new technologies to ensure health data is secure, and embracing the versatility of mobile technologies to provide clinicians and care team members the right tools for sound clinical decision-making, wherever they are.

HealthCare’s Most Wired survey is conducted annually between January and March, and is published by Health and Hospitals Networks. The survey examines how organizations are leveraging IT to improve performance in infrastructure, business and administrative management, quality and safety, and clinical integration.
