Saint Luke’s Health System named among Health Care’s Most Wired for 2018

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Saint Luke’s is committed to adopting technology to foster patient engagement and to offer greater access to health care. Because of this dedication to integrating technology, the CHIME and Modern Healthcare Custom Media have named Saint Luke’s Health System as a Most Wired Hospital for 2018.

According to the survey, Most Wired health systems use telehealth to fill gaps in care, support wireless communications, utilize technology to integrate clinical applications, and engage with patients to support population health. 

Saint Luke’s was recognized as a Most Wired hospital for consistently adopting new technologies to ensure health data is secure, and embracing the versatility of mobile technologies to provide clinicians and care team members the right tools for sound clinical decision-making, wherever they are. 

HealthCare’s Most Wired survey is conducted annually, and is published by Modern Healthcare. The survey examines how organizations are leveraging IT to improve performance in infrastructure, business and administrative management, quality and safety, and clinical integration.
