Journey to 800 Heart Transplants


In September 2018, Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute performed its 800th heart transplant, a milestone few programs achieve.  Ranked second in the nation, the Saint Luke’s transplant team brings their experience, dedication, and passion to their patients every day.  This is what it takes to give 800 patients, and counting, a second chance at life.
