Emergency rooms at Allen County Regional Hospital and Anderson County Hospital have seen an increase in snake bites this summer.

A gift of $1,000 to Anderson County EMS allowed the department to not only replace but upgrade several emergency response bags.

While the hospital’s EMS volunteers do not provide patient-saving care, their presence helps the paramedics and EMT’s who do.
