About Debra Cuthill, RN, APRN, CNM
Debra Cuthill, CNM, is a board-certified nurse midwife with Saint Luke’s Women’s Health North. Debra has clinical interests in nutrition, perimenopause and post-menopause, pregnancy and post-partum care, and gynecology. Her clinical focus includes creating strong patient relationships by listening and empowering her patients on their health and wellness journey. She believes in a patient-centered holistic approach to care.
Debra earned her Master of Science in Nursing Midwifery and holds many certifications, including pregnancy and postpartum athleticism coaching, fourth trimester method instruction, and postpartum and infant doula. She brings a broad range of experience and expertise in both routine and complex pregnancies, as well as comprehensive women's health. Outside of her clinical practice, Debra is also trained as a holistic nurse coach, helping people navigate health and wellness transitions with a whole-person approach.
Originally from South Africa, Debra started her career in Kansas City as an exchange student. She has remained deeply rooted in the community ever since. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, being outdoors, and exploring national parks. She loves to hike and climb mountains. She has climbed Kilimanjaro and Mount Whitney, among mountains with an elevation of at least 14,000 feet. She enjoys being involved in social justice and serving abroad with mission trips to other countries.
