About Lucas Bider, MD
Dr. Bider is a board-certified physiatrist at Rockhill Orthopaedic Specialists. He attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and then completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He specializes in the non-operative management of general musculoskeletal conditions including neck pain, back pain, joint pain, and muscle or tendon injuries. Dr. Bider performs ultrasound-guided injections, trigger point injections, electrodiagnostic testing to aid in the diagnosis and management of neurologic conditions, and injections for chronic migraine prevention. He has active membership with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.
Dr. Bider chose to specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to pursue treatment of the whole patient with a focus on the restoration and maintenance of function. He values partnering with his patients to identify their goals and maximize their physical ability to pursue their passions.
In his spare time Dr. Bider enjoys exercise especially basketball, hiking, and snowboarding. He loves to read and spend time with his wife and two dogs.
