About Megan McNally, MD
Megan McNally, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon with Saint Luke's Surgical Specialists. She treats gastrointestinal cancers, colorectal carcinoma, gastric cancer, hepatobiliary cancers, appendiceal carcinoma and other peritoneal malignancies with intraperitoneal chemotherapy, sarcomas, and skin cancers including melanoma. She also practices general surgery and emphasizes minimally invasive approaches. She is trained in and utilizes da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.
Dr. McNally graduated from the six-year combined BLA-MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2005. She then completed her general surgery residency through the University of Missouri-Kansas City at Truman Medical Centers and Saint Luke's Hospital in 2010. She is board certified with the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncology.
She is a fellowship trained in surgical oncology. She completed a Master's in Medical Science at The Ohio State University in June 2012. Her primary research interest was in the bioinformatic approach to determining associations between micro RNA and outcomes in cholangiocarcinoma.
She is a native of Pittsburg, Kan., and sought to return close to home to practice. She joined Saint Luke's Health System in August of 2012 to practice surgical oncology and general surgery. Her primary practice locations are Saint Luke's East Hospital and Saint Luke's Hospital on the plaza.
Dr. McNally serves on the General Surgery Coding and Reimbursement Committee for the American College of Surgeons. From that involvement, she serves as the advisor for the ACS to the AMA CPT Editorial Panel. She also serves as the Vice-Chair for the General Surgery residency through University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Reviews & Ratings
Recent Patient Reviews
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown below from our survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
We refer to Saint Luke’s providers as well as independent providers credentialed at a Saint Luke’s facility. Providers make no payments for these referrals and our selections are based on your needs and preferences.
