- Comprehensive care: We follow a multidisciplinary, team-based approach.
- Clinical success: We develop highly personalized treatment plans for every patient.
- Less travel, more flexibility: We offer convenient clinic locations across the region and virtual visits when appropriate.
- Improved well-being: We offer physical and emotional support services, in addition to your cancer treatment.
What is HIPEC?
HIPEC is a specialized, two-part procedure.
- Cytoreductive surgery: A surgeon removes all visible tumors from the abdomen, which may involve multiple organs and tissue surfaces.
- Heated chemotherapy: After tumors are removed, heated chemotherapy is circulated throughout the abdomen to target any remaining tumor cells.
Benefits of HIPEC
- Delivers high-dose chemotherapy directly to the cancer sites
- More effective than traditional cancer treatment alone for certain diagnoses
- Treats cancers that were previously considered difficult to manage with traditional chemotherapy
Who is eligible for HIPEC?
