Wright Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
Our dedicated volunteers at Wright Memorial Hospital have a wide range of responsibilities that complement their interests and skills. Members represent many age groups and parts of the community—parents, grandparents, entrepreneurs, long-time volunteers, and young adults.
We would not be the hospital we are today without the efforts of our wonderful volunteers.

As part of the auxiliary, you’ll experience a welcoming volunteer environment, tasks that suit your interests and skills, the satisfaction of helping others, and a free meal in the hospital café during your shift.
Volunteers should be dependable and friendly, have flexible schedules, and must be at least 18 years old (exceptions made for high school groups and programs).
Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 is required for all Saint Luke's volunteers. Saint Luke's also requires a tuberculosis blood test and an influenza vaccination (current flu season), which will be provided at no cost to the volunteer.
Scholarship program
The Wright Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 to encourage qualified individuals to pursue or enrich a career in health care. Scholarships are awarded annually. Each $1000 scholarship requires recipients to share their grades and/or school status if requested by the Auxiliary. A student may apply for and receive this award each year throughout their degree program.
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must have been accepted into an accredited two- or four-year college or university health care program and must provide a copy of the program acceptance letter from the college or university they are attending. Applications also require biographical information, a short essay, and two letters of recommendation.
The Wright Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship is open to anyone meeting the above criteria whose permanent address is in a ZIP code that begins with 646xx or 635xx.
Scholarship applications must be postmarked or received by Friday, March 31, 2023.
