CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — The Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary has awarded six $500 scholarships to the following students pursuing degrees in the health care field: Gracie Ellis, Raelyn Eskridge, Kiley Kirkpatrick, Kaylee Lewis, Amy Ohrenberg, and Gracie West 

The Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Fund was established in 1998 to encourage qualified individuals to pursue or enrich a career in the health care field. These scholarships are awarded annually; to date, 233 recipients have benefited from the fund for a total of $115,500. 

2024 HMC Auxiliary Scholarship recipients also received additional funds through the generosity of the HMC Medical Staff Harkness Library Fund, totaling $833 for each recipient.
