Women with a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, certain genetic mutations, or multiple previous breast biopsies are at high-risk for developing breast cancer. 

Saint Luke's High-Risk Breast Clinic allows these women and any others with a high risk of developing cancer to be monitored closely with thorough clinical breast exams and imaging interpreted by fellowship-trained breast radiologists. 

Dr. Ruby Meierotto, Saint Luke's East Hospital's Lead Interpreting Breast Radiologist, shared some suggestions and tips for reducing the risk of breast cancer on Better Kansas City.
