KMBC: Saint Luke's gives look at ECMO treatment that saved Springfield man's life from COVID-19

Doctors at Saint Luke's gave KMBC a look at a life-saving treatment being used for some of the sickest COVID-19 patients. That includes a Springfield man who came back from the brink of death.

Michelle McGee shared her husband's story and how the team at Saint Luke's gave him a second chance.

KMBC talked to Dr. Michelle Haines, a critical care physician at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute, about the Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) treatment that can save the lives of some of the most critically ill.
