KSHB: US seeing national birth rate decline
Instead of a pandemic baby boom like some experts predicted, new data shows there was a pandemic baby bust.
The Centers for Disease Control reported a 4% decline in the national birth rate last year, and the lowest number of total births since 1979.
KSHB talked to Dr. Lori Kramer, OB-GYN at Saint Luke's North Hospital, about how many women are waiting to have children later in life.
