Leonora McCollum named Hedrick Medical Center’s Employee of the Quarter

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. – Leonora McCollum, a cook at Hedrick Medical Center, was honored as the hospital’s Employee of the Quarter for fourth quarter 2014.

The Employee of the Quarter Award honors an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees, or to comfort or assist patients and their families. In her nomination form, McCollum is described as “always positive and supporting her team by doing special acts of kindness. McCollum is exceptionally cheerful and enthusiastic in serving patients and customers, even in stressful situations.”
 
In recognition of the award, McCollum received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, the parking space of her choice, and other prizes. Matt Wenzel, Hedrick Medical Center CEO, presented the award to McCollum at a reception held in her honor on Dec. 17.
