Container Type:
FFPE tissue block or slides, lavender-top (EDTA) tube or green-top (sodium heparin) tube.
Specimen Type:

One paraffin-embedded tumor  or slides, AND either whole blood or paraffin-embedded normal tissue or slides.

Preferred Volume:
8 unstained slides or a tissue block AND at least one matching normal slide (or tissue block) or 3 to 5 mL whole blood.
Store and Transport:
Room temperature (tissue block), and refrigerated (whole blood)
Unacceptable Condition:

Samples in which there is no evidence of tumor or normal tissue, hemolyzed blood samples, or samples in which there is insufficient quantity of specimen for analysis will be rejected.
