Specimen Processing:
  1. Centrifuge and separate the plasma from the cells immediately following collection.
  2.  Re-spin plasma for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Remove plasma and place in another tube and cap.

Refrigerated - 24 hours
Room temperature - 24 hours

Unacceptable Condition:

Frozen specimens will be rejected
Very icteric or lipemic specimens will be rejected
Non-heparinized plasma samples will be rejected
