KC Physicians collaboration with device companies delivers better care

Kansas City-area doctors support the transparency provided by a federal public database about non-research-related payments designed to disclose information about the cost of health care and potential conflicts of interest.

“The Sunshine Act has created the transparency in the interactions between physicians and industry, which is important, and positive,” Dr. Mikhail Kosiborod, a cardiologist with Saint Luke’s Cardiovascular Consultants.
