Collection Procedure:
1. Collect blood and immediately place tube in 37° C water bath and allow blood to clot.
2. After 10 minutes in the water bath, centrifuge at 3000 rpm for 10 minutes.
3. If unable to centrifuge, forward unprocessed whole blood to laboratory promptly at room temperature only.

Unacceptable Condition:
Serum gel tubes are not acceptable.
